  Mary Castro is a well-recognized cake designer.

   Mary learned her techniques at the prestigious Colette Peters confectionary arts institute.  Colette Peters is one of the world's premier cake designers.

  Mary is also a sugar craft artist alumni from the Nicholas Lodge International Sugar Art Collection (ISAC).  Nicholas is one of the top instructors in the current generation of sugar craft artists.

  Mary also learned confectionary methods from Norman R. Davis.  He is the owner of The Sweet Life, a custom-design cakery in Annandale, VA.

   Mary also mastered her cake elaboration skills at the French Pastry School of Chicago.
